Extra Fear becomes a part of the script and for the first time the idea of a trilogy comes up, but will be rejected later on, because of less time during shooting

Leading actors Moritz Gleitsmann and Martin Brueckner get the script

Erik Lehmann gets to know Ingrid Skalsky, the head of Agrargenossenschaft Zwickau-Muelsen, the company offering the wheat as setting for the film

The short film project gets the title Sekundenschlaf (mircosleep) after long discussions about the title

The storyboard is completed by Georg Mikulcak

Final version of the script

Mike Haetterich and Erik Lehmann go to see the setting. Both are very concerned about the green field and have doubts about the transformation into golden wheat, as the script describes.

The main motive of the soundtrack by Peter Oberlaender is completed

The animals for the film are bought

Ingrid Skalsky and Erik Lehmann make their last tour viewing the different settings.

Last talks about the contest with the actors and their parents. The technical equipment is brought from Dresden.

Last rehearsals during the morning, first clap around 4 p.m.

31. July 2004

Second day with seven hours of shooting, interrupted by a two-hour visit to the open-air swimming pool in Muelsen for the boys. Local newspaper comes up with an article about the filming.

01. August 2004

Third and last day of shooting with nine hours on set, being interrupted by several weather changes and sudden rain.

03. August 2004

Postproduction starts. Writing the credits in German and English.

05. August 2004

Photos, made by Mike Haetterich during the shootings on set are ready for showing.

19. August 2004

First version of the soundtrack is completed

www.secundenschlaf.de is about to be online and the whole film project gets the new title with a „c“.

24. August 2004

Sebastian Dietrich completes the first raw cut version of the film in Dresden.

Second article about the upcoming completion of the film

The Torsten-Special for the DVD extra material is finished

In Leipzig the film gets all colours new made, the credits get revised and the film poster is made.

More colour revising and Dolby-Digital-Sound get completed in Leipzig

Robert-Schumann Konservatorium, music school of Zwickau gives us space and equipment to record the piano parts of the soundtracks final version
